So, I walk into my son's room after hearing this phrase:
"Because I wanted to" after my dear wife asked, "Why did you write on your floor in marker?"
Mind you, we have carpet in all the boy's rooms. We thought about hardwood or laminate, but ultimately remembered that carpet is MUCH quieter. And, with a bunch of boys around here, any EXTRA help we can get to keep things quiet is much appreciated.
So, this is what I saw:
Yep...Marker on the carpet. This from the child who thinks that it's perfectly OK to destroy just about anything...including the carpet in his room...and NOT JUST IN A HIDDEN CORNER. Oh, no. It had to be RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROOM!
