Today I determined that an 18-month old can make just as big a mess with "Moondough" as he can with the entire container.
I thought by limiting his supply that would make the mess I had to clean up a little easier. NOT SO!
I thought by eliminating the bulk of the supply that he would want to hold on to what he had, you know, not 'lose' it or 'use' it up. NOT SO!
By giving him a smaller amount, only meant that the pieces he threw and dropped all over the floor were just smaller pieces. I tried taking pictures but the scene looked so tame through the lens of my camera that those who read this would think I was exaggerating. I didn't know moondough could be torn into such tiny pieces. A Little goes a LONG way!
Picture hundreds of fingernail-size slivers all over the table and floor! Picture thousands of little blue ants! Picture an entire beach in my kitchen...well, almost, not really. BUT IT ABOUT TOOK THAT LONG TO CLEAN IT ALL UP!
