OK. So, here's how it all fell apart.
155 days ago I retired.
I have figured out that I'm not as good as ANY woman at trying to get all the things done that have been placed on MY shoulders now that I stay at, and work from, home.
I have also figured out that I don't think the same way my wife does. Take grocery shopping.
By definition, the word grocery means: Items of food (don't believe me, Google it).
When I go grocery shopping I am going for food items. I have figured out that I have to shop for dinner AND lunch menu items. Breakfast is easy...milk and cereal (that one is a no brainer).
My wife, on the other hand, is much more in tuned with the OTHER needs of the house. That would also help explain why my wife could do the entire week's 'grocery' shopping and come home with all sorts of things that weren't 'groceries.' Clothing items, household items, vehicular items, potential baby shower items, gift items for surprise birthday announcements from family members, AND things like dish soap.
Yep...I failed again. Can't do dishes very well with body soap. I don't know why...soap is soap, right?!
