I am shocked that kids don't complete the task they are asked to do the first time they are asked. Instead, they begin it, find something else to do and leave something 'half-done.'
Garbage for instance. Gathered from around the house but left next to the garbage can.
Dishes for instance. Cleared from the table, but not washed or put in the dishwasher.
Laundry for instance. Taken out of the dryer, but not folded.
Sometimes, the help is almost helpful.
My most recent favorite is the help we received from one of our children. He was asked to help clear the dinner from the table. That would include putting food into containers and stored for later, usually in the fridge.
This time, the child in question helped, but only just barely.
Do you know what happens when you take warm pizza and cram enough left over pieces for three containers into one container?
A PIZZA exPRESS.
(8 pieces of pizza become one large Calzone!)
