Day 11
Dishes...
If EVERYONE did
their own dishes, I wouldn't be writing this, now would I?!
Growing up, my family
ALWAYS had a dishwasher...it had two legs that stood right up next to the sink
and had arms and hands and fingers too.
Now that I'm married with my own family, we have a real dishwasher, one with a door and buttons on the front and racks, too!
But it never fails, when I do the dishes there always seems to be something that gets left out. I stop the wash, open the door, put in another item over and over again.
The saving grace in my 'Dish Dilemma' I have a helper...
Daddy's little helper... :)
I TOTALLY LOVE being at home with my family. I can't believe I wasn't around to enjoy moments like the one above for 10 years of marriage and family! I am so grateful to my wonderful wife who has made it possible to stay home because of her very successful 'stay-at-home' business...I am truly blessed.

Some of us have this problem solved -- well at least in the summer-- paper plates and plastic utensils. Live that you have a willing helper!
ReplyDeleteIt's time to begin writing a book, Dixon. You need to publish your first years anecdotes. They will sell!!
