I have always wondered how it is that moms are able to do so much. Like the day my wife said something like, "Today I only did 35 loads of laundry, baked 16 loaves of bread, changed the sheets on all the beds..." (something like that).
I just can't figure this out. I get up in the morning, look at the clock and think, "OK. I have just over 14 hours to work on the house today. Surely I can get some noticeable things done." And yet, it doesn't seem to happen the way I envision it.
Mopping the Floor. I get this one. I figured out how to get the floor mopped. It starts like this:
- Get out the ice cube tray to make yourself a nice glass of ice water.
- Fill up the empty cubes with fresh water.
- Open up the freezer to put back in the tray.
- Have an ice pack fall out of the freezer and knock the ice cube tray to the floor spilling all the water.
- Grab a ton of rags and towels to clean up the water before it destroys the laminate flooring.
