Red pasta sauce is the bane of my existence. It's the only food on our menu that I have to strip the youngest kid down to barely anything in order to preserve his clothing from red blotchy stains. As you can tell, he enjoyed his dinner of broccoli, noodles and sauce (homemade pasta sauce...yes...my little domestic self has figured out how to use tomatoes from our garden to create pasta sauce). Down to the last drop.
We're back to cloth diapers again.
Positive:
We're saving money by not throwing away disposables.
Negative:
They don't change the same way.
Cloth diapers require a little more care. Let's just say, it's a science I haven't entirely mastered. By now, you would think I had.
The OTHER mess I cleaned up this evening wasn't so pleasant, nor easy. Of COURSE, it happened AFTER I had given him his bath. I must have changed 10 pee diapers today. One positive, our child is well hydrated.
And if I had thought that because I hadn't changed a poopy diaper all day today there was a good chance that I would before the end of the evening, then I wouldn't have just ripped the diaper from off his back side so quickly. EVEN IF I HAD MY CAMERA I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SNAP A PICTURE BECAUSE MY HANDS, THE FLOOR, HIS CLOTHES...AAAAACKKKKK!!!
