Being a 'Stay-at-home/Work-from-home' parent DOES have it's advantages.
Like learning what other stay-at-home parents talk about during their mornings at school drop offs and on Facebook.
I'm not a HUGE fan of Facebook, but I have come to appreciate the capabilities of a community 'gathering' place for ideas and suggestions for 'improvement' in my culinary and housekeeping skills. Recently, I saw a post that intrigued me. It read:
"8 inches 20 minutes"
The comments that followed showed a definite misunderstanding of its meaning. And SHE who posted made no effort to debunk or clarify the significance. I ignored it.
Then, I saw it again. And then AGAIN. Each time, from a different woman.
I did a simple search, found out what it meant, returned to the original post and added my comment.
For me, a man:
"7 inches 35 seconds"
Dirty minds. With what I've learned from the many women who surround me in this new field of study (stay-at-home-parent): Here's your hint:
