So, I Googled how to make homemade chicken noodle soup. We are hosting a soup and salad pitch-in tomorrow afternoon.
It's not too hard to make chicken noodle soup. Take some water, some chicken stock, some vegetables (carrots and celery) some seasonings and boil for a while. Then, let it simmer. Then, add noodles (or potatoes, I chose noodles).
They didn't say how much pasta to add.
Without the noodles that's what it USED to look like.
Now, I can cut my chicken noodle soup with a knife. It's more like chicken noodle pudding.
I'm on probation again.
This is your mother (I am not anonymous): The secret to soup with noodles is to cook the noodles separately (al dente) and then add to the soup when almost finished. That way you don't have soggy noodles or chicken noodle casserole. ;)
