I remember coming home and finding my children playing with my school supply of stickers. I remember seeing multiple stars and smiley faces all over and thinking, "Don't they know I pay for those?!" I also remember feeling a little bitter about the fact that the stickers never stayed on longer than about 6 seconds before being thrown away.
Today I had a moment of insight that has now turned that previous thinking completely upside down!
So, our youngest was tired and wanted to nurse before taking his afternoon nap. I, of course, am not equipped to nurse him, and since his mommy was away for a while, I tried to comfort him with water, Cheerios, applesauce, etc., etc., etc.
Well, since nothing worked, and I was becoming more frustrated by the minute, plus trying to answer and make phone calls with a screaming child has not proved very productive for me at all, I found an answer that worked.
