So, in an effort to win greatest husband of the year, I decided to surprise my wife with a bed space that was warm.
Plan:
1. To fill hot water bottles with hot water while the boys are showering.
2. Secretly hide them at the foot of her side of the bed.
3. Don't tell her about the surprise.
4. Let her climb into bed and then let her go on and on about how thoughtful I was.
How it all unfolded:
EVERYTHING went as planned except the whole telling me how thoughtful I was...
Should have checked for any leaks!
EPIC FAIL!
My wife came into the room and said, "I know what you've been doing."
"What?" I asked.
Then, she proceeds to tell me everything I've been trying to do to keep her from finding out! I even turned the mattress...a king-size-memory foam mattress! DO YOU KNOW HOW HEAVY THOSE THINGS ARE?!
And I thought she was on a conference call!
