Don't Throw Things in the House!
Day 163
My second youngest son figured out that rule we have about 'Don't Throw Things in the House' really is important...
"What was THAT?" said he.
"That's not good," I responded.
Comes down the stairs.
"Who did THAT?" pointing at the marker mess, said in an innocent, 'couldn't-have-been-me' kind of way.
"Well, do you think it had anything to do with the towel?"
"I didn't throw it over here! I threw it over there!" he argued, pointing to the bottom of the stairs, by the shoes (You can see the towel at the top left corner of the picture).
Yep...he's my son.
On another note, today our youngest son figured out the fastest way to the bottom of the stairs. Thank goodness for carpeted and cushioned stairs and my wife's insistence that we spring for the extra thick carpet padding for the basement)!
Yes, he cried. Yes, he was scared. No, he's not damaged permanently...He stopped crying in about 20 seconds and was pointing to go back down the stairs in but a few minutes. Thank goodness.
