Day 211 Part 2
Maybe it's just me?
I like to have my children around me when I'm doing chores...that way I can prevent them from creating a greater mess somewhere else in the house while I'm focused on a specific task.
Like washing the dishes.
I have some putting away the dishes from the dishwasher, others clearing the table, and others helping me put away dishes that are dry on the counter. Our youngest plays in the water while I wash, and constantly shuffle dishes out of his reach. I wasn't fast enough tonight.
What I want to know is why don't my children seem to sense the urgency in stopping a behavior when I think it's crucial, of utmost importance, supremely urgent...
Like drinking the soapy dishwater....out of our dirty compost container?
He's still alive.
P.S. The 'urgency' I felt is what has presented an entry without a picture...sorry.
